I’m honored when collectors feel a deep connection with my work. While I don’t offer pet portraits or general commissions, I do occasionally accept custom requests inspired by my existing artwork — especially if you love birds, natural subjects, or compositions similar to pieces like Perch Perfect or Reflected Intensity.

Each commission is an original work created in my signature style, guided by your chosen species, mood, and size — brought to life with thoughtful artistic expression.

• Original artwork in oil on canvas or color pencil on archival paper
• Your choice of bird species or nature-inspired theme
• Inspired by previous works (not exact copies)
• Final composition, pose, and palette are shaped by my creative process
• Signed and titled, with a Certificate of Authenticity

🚫 What I Do Not Offer

To maintain creative integrity, I do not offer:

• Pet portraits
• Photorealistic recreations
• Highly specific scenes (e.g., “my backyard tree with two bluebirds”)
• Edits or revisions once work begins
• Rush orders

🧠 Artistic Process & Creative Boundaries

Color pencil is a permanent medium — once pigment is down, it cannot be removed or painted over. Because of this:

• No revisions or edits will be offered after the artwork is started
• I may reinterpret your idea into a new composition
• By commissioning me, you are agreeing to trust my artistic vision
• Finished work may differ from your initial idea and will not be a replica of previous pieces

🔐 Artwork Rights & Reproduction

All commissioned pieces are sold as originals only. As the artist, I retain full and exclusive rights to the artwork, including but not limited to:

• 📸 The right to photograph and record video of the work-in-progress and completed piece for use on social media, my website, and other promotional materials. 
• 🖨️ The right to create prints and reproductions (including fine art prints, merchandise, or other products) based on the commissioned artwork. 
• 📚 The right to use the artwork in future publications, galleries, portfolios, or exhibitions.

Commissioning a piece does not transfer ownership of copyright or reproduction rights. No duplication or commercial use of the artwork is permitted by the buyer without written permission. 

By commissioning a piece, you are purchasing the original, one-of-a-kind artwork only — all other rights are reserved.

💸 Payment Terms

• 50% non-refundable deposit required to reserve your commission
• Remaining 50% due before shipping
• Accepted Payment Methods: All payments are processed securely through my website only.

🔁 Refund Policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds on original artwork due to the time, materials, and labor involved.

🕒 Timeline

Original artwork takes time — especially when built with care and detail. Completion depends on the size, complexity, and my current schedule. Some works may take several months, while smaller pieces may be finished more quickly.

I complete commissions in the order they’re received. Once I begin your piece, I’ll share key-stage updates (like sketching, layering, or underpainting). If you're working toward a specific date, please contact me before booking to confirm availability.

Q: Can I request a background or scene?
A: Backgrounds may be included at my discretion based on composition and subject, but detailed scene recreations are not offered.

Q: Can I request changes after seeing a sketch?
A: No changes are made once work begins. Due to the nature of my materials — especially color pencil — all work is final and created with full artistic freedom.

Q: How do I know when you’ll start my piece?
A: I’ll let you know the estimated start date based on current bookings, and I’ll keep you updated throughout key stages of the creative process.
